International exhibition on elevators, escalators, technology and accessories officially opened on the morning of December 1 at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), Ho Chi Minh City. The event is a notable highlight within the framework of Vietnam Expo 2022, organized for the first time in Vietnam by the Vietnam Elevator Association in collaboration with Advertising and Trade Fair Joint Stock Company.

VNEA President Nguyen Hai Duc shared: Why does the world have but we don't have a specialized exhibition in the field of elevators and escalators? Without such separate playing fields, it would be difficult for international businesses operating in these fields to find each other. Therefore, this exhibition wants to become a connection and trade point for domestic and foreign enterprises, promoting bilateral and multilateral cooperation for mutual benefits. And not only that, the exhibition will also be a forum where we discuss the cooperation in international labor training in the elevator industry.
Chairman of the Korean Elevator Safety Authority (KoELSA) Lee Yong-pyo assessed that Vietnam's elevator industry is a new industry and through this thematic exhibition, Vietnam's elevator industry will develop more and more. “I represent Korea's elevator safety agency to attend this exhibition with Korean partners and elevator companies in Vietnam, hoping that during this visit there will be many cooperation, development as well as support for Vietnam's elevator industry", he added.
