4. Vietnam Elevator Association has its own logo  which is copyright registered in accordance with the law.

Principle, purpose

Vietnam Elevator Association (hereinafter referred to as the Association) is a socio-professional organization of Vietnamese citizens and organizations operating in the field of elevators and escalators or related to elevators and escalators. According to the provisions of law, voluntarily established, operating regularly, not for profit for the purpose of gathering and uniting members, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the Association and its members, also helping, support each other to operate effectively, contribute to the construction and socio-economic development of the country.

Legal position, headquarters

1. The association has its own legal status, seal and account; operates in accordance with Vietnamese law and the Association's Charter approved by a competent state agency.

2. The Association's head office is located in Hanoi. The Association may have a representative office in a province or city in accordance with law.

Field and scope of activities

1. The association operates nationwide.

2. The association operates in the field of elevators and escalators or is related to elevators and escalators in accordance with law.

3. The organization and operation of the Association are subject to the state management of the Ministry of Home Affairs and the ministries and branches related to the Association's fields of operation in accordance with law.

Principles of organization and operation

1. Voluntary, self-governing.

2. Democracy, equality, publicity and transparency.

3. Self-financed operating expenses.

4. Not for profit purposes.

Powers and duties

Mission

1. Comply with the provisions of law related to the organization and operation of the Association. Organize and operate according to the Association's Charter approved by the Ministry of Home Affairs. Not to take advantage of the Association's activities to harm national security, social order, morality, fine customs and traditions, national communication, and legitimate rights and interests of individuals and organizations. .

2. Gather and unite members; organize and coordinate activities among members for the common interests of the Association; strictly comply with the principles and purposes of the Association to share experiences, support and help each other in production, business and services related to the field of elevators and escalators in accordance with the law and Articles of Association

3. Disseminate and foster knowledge and information on legal regulations for members, guide and encourage members to comply with the laws, regimes and policies of the State and the Association ‘s Charter and regulations.

4. Representing members to participate in and make recommendations to competent authorities on guidelines and policies related to the Association's field of operation in accordance with law.

5. The Association shall coordinate with state management agencies, organizations and individuals related to the field of elevators and escalators in performing tasks as prescribed by law, including:

a) Trade promotion, training and development of elevators and escalators;

b) Participate in the formulation of technical standards and regulations for elevators and escalators;

c) Participating in research, consulting and assessment on safety and technical status of elevators and escalators in Vietnam;

d) Participating in, researching and publishing publications on technology and safety for elevators and escalators;

e) International cooperation activities in the field of operation of the Association;

6. Conciliation of disputes, settlement of complaints and denunciations within the Association in accordance with the law and the Association's Charter.

7. Develop and issue code of ethics in the Association's activities.

8. Manage and use the Association's funds in accordance with the law and the Association's Charter.

9. Perform other tasks when required by competent authorities. Article 7. Powers 1. To propagate the principles and operation purposes of the Association.

2. Representing members in internal and external relationships related to the Association's functions and tasks.

3. To protect the legitimate rights and interests of members in accordance with the principles and purposes of the Association as prescribed by law.

4. Participating in research programs, projects, research topics, consulting, criticism and social assessment at the request of state agencies; provide public services on issues in the field of activities of the Association, organize vocational training in accordance with the law.

| 5. To give opinions on legal documents related to the Association's activities in accordance with the law. To make recommendations to competent state agencies on issues related to the Association's development and the Association's field of operation. To organize training and retraining, to organize other service activities as prescribed by law and to be granted practice certificates when fully meeting the conditions prescribed by law.

6. Coordinate with relevant agencies and organizations to perform the Association's tasks.

7. Establish a legal entity under the Association according to the provisions of law.

9. To receive legal funding sources from organizations and individuals at home and abroad according to the provisions of law. To receive financial support from the State for activities associated with the tasks assigned by the State.

10. To join the respective international organizations and sign and implement international agreements in accordance with the law and report to the state management agencies on the sectors and fields in which the Association operates and agencies for permit the establishment of an association on joining the respective international organization, signing and implementing international agreements.
