First time taking the national level elevator skill test

The content of the skill competition on elevator engineering first appeared in the 12th National Vocational Skills Competition in 2021. This is one of the activities of the Vietnam Elevator Association efforts towards the goal together with the relevant authorities to define the profession of elevator technician in the field of vocational education and extend to other training levels.

New features of the contest

The 12th National Vocational Skills Competition will take place from December 2 to December 12, 2021 after being postponed for a while amid the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic. This year's contest is expected to have about 600 contestants from many vocational schools, businesses, and so on across the country. Contestants will compete in 35 occupations, of which 29 are organized in the form of socialization.

Faced with the increasing requirements of the society for human resources in various professions, many requirements and tasks were set forth by the Prime Minister in Directive No. 24/CT-TTg dated May 28, 2020 on promoting human resource development. Skilled workforce contributes to improving labor productivity and increasing national competitiveness in the new situation. Therefore, the 12th National Vocational Skills Examination in 2021 must be renewed. Assoc. Elevator technical skills test for the first time

This year's National Vocational Skills Competition aims to prepare the Vietnamese delegation to participate in the Asian Skills Competition 2022, the 46th World Skills Competition 2022 in Shanghai, China. Currently, 4 teams have registered to participate in the elevator installation competition.
