On June 16, 2026, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Elevator Association, representatives of the Association held a meeting with representatives of Guangri Elevator Company, China, focusing on exchanging market information and cooperation opportunities in the elevator field between the two parties.

Attending the working session, on the side of the Vietnam Elevator Association were Mr. Nguyen Hai Duc – Chairman of the Vietnam Elevator Association; Mr. Nguyen Huy Tien – General Secretary of the Vietnam Elevator Association; Mr. Nguyen Duc Hanh – Director of the Institute of Elevator Applied Engineering.
On the side of Guangri Elevator Company, the delegation was led by Mr. Zhang Aiping – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, General Director of Guangri Elevator Company, and also Vice Chairman of the China Elevator Association.

At the working session, Mr. Zhang Aiping - General Director of Guangri Elevator, gave an overview of the development process, production capacity, product ecosystem, and internationalization orientation of Guangri Elevator.
Mr. Zhang Aiping expressed the desire that through the Vietnam Elevator Association, Guangri could gain a deeper understanding of the Vietnamese market, especially the legal regulatory system, technical standards, and regulations of the Vietnamese elevator industry.

On that basis, Guangri hopes to participate more deeply in the Vietnamese market, offering suitable technological solutions, while accompanying the Association in activities of experience exchange, information sharing, and promoting cooperation in the field of elevator industry standardization.
Speaking at the working session, Mr. Nguyen Hai Duc – Chairman of the Vietnam Elevator Association highly appreciated the goodwill of Guangri Elevator in exploring the market and cooperation opportunities. He stated that the Vietnamese elevator market is in a development phase, which imposes increasingly high requirements on product quality, technical safety, origin transparency, compliance with standards and regulations, and service capacity.

The VNEA Chairman also shared that the Association is currently implementing many important professional activities, including developing foundational standards for home elevators, participating in advising on the construction of a national elevator database, and promoting cooperation in testing, inspection, training, and enhancing technical capacity for the elevator industry workforce.
According to Mr. Nguyen Hai Duc, VNEA, as the social-professional organization of the Vietnamese elevator industry, is always ready to act as a bridge between domestic and international enterprises in the spirit of equal cooperation, legal compliance, and aiming towards the goal of improving quality and safety for elevator users in Vietnam.
In his capacity as Vice Chairman of the China Elevator Association, Mr. Zhang Aiping expressed the desire for both sides to work together, share experiences, and promote cooperation in the field of elevator industry standardization, thereby contributing to improving the quality, safety, and professionalism of the market.
