Announcement of the CIP of Vietnam Elevator Expo

“Connect, create, develop” – those are the keywords of the Vietnam Elevator Expo - The international exhibition of elevators, escalators - technology & accessories. This is also evident in the new brand identity of this event announced by the Vietnam Elevator Association.

The Vietnam Elevator Expo  is an international exhibition of elevators, escalators - technology & accessories held for the first time in 2022 - a very prestigious event, attracting the attention of domestic, international organizations and enterprises in the elevator and auxiliary industries. The exhibition is within the framework of the Vietnam International Trade Fair (Vietnam Expo) co-organized by the Vietnam Elevator Association (VNEA) and the Vietnam National Trade Fair and Advertising Company (VINEXAD, Ministry of Industry and Trade).

From now on, this will be an annual international event taking place periodically around November and December every year in Ho Chi Minh City, gathering a large number of domestic, international organizations and businesses to exhibit and participate in other activities such as touring, attending conferences, etc.

Following the success of the exhibition in 2022, the community has identified the Elevator EXPO as one of the most important and prestigious events of the year for the elevator, escalator and auxiliary industries. In order to standardize and improve the quality of the exhibition, VNEA has built and announced the official brand identity of the Vietnam Elevator Expo to affirm and spread our core goals and values.

The identification structure consists of 4 parts:

Part 1: The Overview of the Vietnam Elevator Expo: Introduction to basic information about the Vietnam Elevator Expo.

Part 2: Brand structure and basic stipulations: Logo types, meanings and rules of usage.

Part 3: Brand elements: Color and typography regulations.

Part 4: Application of identification: Some practical applications of the brand identity to actual products.

About the overview, the Vietnam Elevator Expo logo carries the mission of being a place to connect businesses and organizations in the field of elevators, escalators - technology and accessories internationally. Color is an aspect of visual representation of the spirit of the logo, through the 3 main colors: blue, yellow and gray, the logo exudes harmony and creates a sense of professionalism and user-friendliness.

Combined with stylized iconic images, such as escalator, elevator call sign buttons, EXPO characters, the five strokes representing the five continents or symbols of connection and development, the brand identity affirms the core values that VNEA and Vietnam Elevator Expo 2023 aim towards: connection - openness, create - develop, trust - stable. We can take a look at the combination formula of this new logo for better understanding of the meaning:

The blue part is a stylized image of the escalator, which also shows the spirit of connection and trend of development.

Symmetrical on the top and bottom are 2 arrow signs on the elevator's landing operating panel (LOP). Separated from the top, there are 5 strokes that make up the letter V, representing an event on an international scale in Vietnam, gathering businesses and organizations around the world.

Blue represents connection, trust, friendliness; Yellow represents dynamism, prosperity, opportunity, development; Gray represents durability, certainty, stability. The letters EXPO mean exhibition - the core of the Vietnam Elevator Expo event.

The Vietnam Elevator Expo 2023 brand identity set uses the Lato font consistently for legal documents, media products, and text.
