Architect Nguyen Van Tat started to participate in architectural activities since he was a student at the University of Architecture, Ho Chi Minh City. After nearly 30 years of working in the field of architectural design, he has designed more than 270 projects, of which: Designing over 200 projects (over 170 architectural design projects and over 30 design projects zoning). In which 1 project won the first prize in the international contest "Archi's 79 - Habitation Rural" organized by ACCT of the United Nations and the World Architects Association (UIA) in Paris - France, the topic "Housing in the region. Nam Can - Ca Mau mangrove alluvium ”- 1979, 1 project won the first prize in the National Architectural Project Contest (Unimex Hanoi International Hotel) - 1985, 1 project won the second prize (no first prize ) National Architectural Project Competition (Northern Delta Rural Housing) - 1998, 1 project won the Ho Chi Minh City Literature and Art Award (Ben Thanh Non Nuoc Tourist Area) - 2004 ... Besides , 14 of his works have won the National Architecture Award for excellent constructions organized by the Vietnam Association of Architects every 2 years.
