On the morning of April 8, 2026, the Vietnam Elevator Expo 2026 Hanoi officially opened at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC), Dong Anh with many vibrant professional activities.
The opening ceremony was attended by numerous delegates and guests from management agencies, associations, and businesses. The Vietnamese side included Mr. Le Hoang Tai - Deputy Director of the Trade Promotion Agency (Ministry of Industry and Trade), Mr. Bui Trung Nghia - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), Mr. Nguyen Hai Duc - Chairman of the Vietnam Elevator Association, among others.
On the international side, the event noted the presence of many diplomatic representatives and trade organizations from countries such as Cuba, Mexico, Malaysia, Thailand, the Czech Republic, Russia…
Vietnam Elevator Expo 2026 is being held concurrently with Vietnam Expo, contributing to a vibrant multi-sector exhibition space with numerous trade, display, and business networking activities.
One of the highlights at the exhibition is the VNEA Pavilion area organized by the Vietnam Elevator Association. Here, visitors can directly experience a Vietnam-Germany elevator equipment simulator, helping them better visualize the structure and operating principles of a modern elevator system.
Additionally, there are elevator control solutions developed by the Vietnam Institute of Applied Elevator Engineering (VILEA) in cooperation with INTEC (Germany), applying advanced technology platforms and aiming for European standards.
Notably, the display area also introduces elevator designs that apply lacquer art – a new approach combining technology with Vietnamese cultural identity.
Later that same afternoon, the "Elevator Talk" seminar will take place with two discussion sessions focusing on the themes of art and technology in the elevator industry. The program gathers speakers such as Architect Tran Duc Toan - General Director of the Construction Consultancy Corporation, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Architect Vu Hong Cuong - Head of the Interior Design Department, Hanoi University of Architecture, lacquer artist Do Khai, along with international experts from INTEC and Inovance Group.
The seminar is expected to become a forum for in-depth exchange and simultaneously open up opportunities for direct connection between elevator businesses and architects, engineers, and design experts – important partners in shaping solutions for modern projects.
With a rich series of activities and the participation of numerous domestic and international entities, Vietnam Elevator Expo 2026 Hanoi promises to continue being a connecting hub, promoting cooperation, and opening new development directions for the Vietnamese elevator industry in the coming time.
